Our surroundings
Not only have we a new website, thanks to a good friend of Sr. Marie Thérèse, but with it the opportunity of posting some of our news from time to time. Soon we shall be able to keep you up to date on the building of the rest of our monastery, which we hope to have completed by the end of the year. We are looking forward enormously to having room to receive both candidates and guests so much more easily than we can at present. WATCH THIS SPACE! But first, just to give you the sense of our surroundings....  The round building is the new parish church with the bell tower in front of it.
The monastery is behind the tower and to the right.
Our parish priest lives in the house nearest the church,
and Br. Bjarne ofm, in one of the bungalows in the foreground.
At the top is a glimpse of Lake Farris which runs out into the fjord;
the sea is just off the picture to the right.
