Through the centuries, Clare's vision has caught the imagination of women in every land. Today, her inspiration has led over 20,000 women to communities of Poor Clares in 76 countries worldwide.

We hope that many others, both from Norway and from other cultures and countries, will catch the same fire and come and share our life of prayer, simplicity and joy.

We welcome enquiries from young - and perhaps not so young - women who may feel called to follow in Clare's footsteps.

It is necessary to speak good English and have the ability also to learn Norwegian.
